Biography
Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad serves as the Graduate Program Director for the Human-Centered Computing program at Grand Valley State University, where he authored both the bachelor's and master's degree programs in this emerging field. His research interests span Human-AI Interaction, Human-Computer Interaction, and Usable Privacy, with a focus on designing systems that prioritize user needs, trust, and accessibility.
Dr. Ahmad regularly teaches courses in usability design and evaluation, databases, data structures and algorithms, and usable privacy. He is an active reviewer for leading conferences and workshops, including CSCW, CHI, and SOUPS. When he’s not working with students or advancing research, Dr. Ahmad enjoys playing and watching soccer.
