Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in the College of Computing and authored both the bachelor's and master's degree programs at Grand Valley State University in the emerging field of Human-Centered Computing. His research interests span Human-AI Interaction, Human-Computer Interaction, and Usable Privacy, with a focus on designing systems that prioritize user needs, trust, and accessibility.

Dr. Ahmad regularly teaches courses in usability design and evaluation, databases, data structures and algorithms, and usable privacy. He is an active reviewer for leading conferences and workshops, including CSCW, CHI, and SOUPS. When he’s not working with students or advancing research, Dr. Ahmad enjoys playing and watching soccer.
