Welcome to the official website of the Grand Valley State University Wrestling Club, a distinguished National Collegiate Wrestling Association member. Since our debut season in 2000-2001, we've established a legacy of excellence, capturing eight NCWA Championships—five in the Traditional Format and three in the Dual Format. Our storied journey includes the remarkable achievements of 91 student-athletes who have earned 143 All-American awards, with 17 standout wrestlers claiming 23 Individual National Championships.

Our dedication to excellence extends beyond the club level, as we compete against both club and varsity teams. The Lakers excel in fierce competition, engaging with challenging opponents from the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA. We are more than just a team. The GVSUWC is a close-knit community that offers a second chance to those on a comeback journey. We provide the necessary support and resources to help individuals rediscover themselves and achieve their goals.
