Wednesday, November 20 from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Charles W. Loosemore Auditorium, Building E of DeVos Center, GVSU Pew Campus

Over 100 posters and presentations will feature students’ work on subjects including: changing community demographics; cannabis tourism; best practices in sustainability; climate change; and rural poverty in Michigan. Attendees can:

  • Support the jigsaw puzzle competition to raise money for student scholarship funds.
  • Listen to sets of our timed presentations (15 slides for 20 seconds each) which start on the half hour. The audience votes for their favorite presentations.
  • View over 100 posters, which rotate on the hour. Attendees can sponsor and present customized awards to their favorite posters.

The symposium is a free, one-day event focused on community engagement and research by our undergraduate students.  All members of the Grand Valley community and general public are welcome to come any time during the symposium.  Refreshments will be served.  Community parking is available in the Seward Lot.
