Dr. Salvatore Alaimo, associate professor in the GVSU School of Public, Nonprofit and Health Administration, shares his thoughts and insights on the nonprofit sector facing organizational and financial challenges during the economic effects of this pandemic.

He believes it will benefit nonprofits in the long run to take advantage of the Paycheck Protection Program and keep people employed if possible.

“Keeping your staff is going to help you when you ramp up again,” he said.
