One of my favorite GVSU memories is the first snowfall, walking across the bridge and seeing the large blue art piece lightly covered in snow.

One of my favorite Grand Valley memories was helping add lights to the varsity and intramural fields, truly a way to "play on, Lakers!"

In the Fall of 1966, I remember asking the athletic director if we could have a woman's crew. He said, sure. Just bring me some interested students!

My favorite memory in my master's program was one of the first weeks we had a panel night where other executives in the field talked to us about their career paths.

I remember tailgating at a Grand Valley playoff game in December while it was snowing. It was a great time and felt special having a home game so late in the season. The best part of Grand Valley was the people.

My best memory would be studying abroad and teaching in South Africa in my last year of school. My first class at Grand Valley was taught by Dr. John Kilbourne and he made it every student's mission to take advantage of the opportunity, so I did.

A favorite Grand Valley memory is meeting two friends, Jill and Brad, and having all of our 300 and 400-level classes together! It was so nice to go through all that with a core group of friends!

My first football game as a student was so much fun! The buzz and excitement in the student section was something to behold and it was empowering!
