Social Work student earns Phi Kappa Phi fellowship

A social work graduate student has been awarded a fellowship by a national honor society.
Sam Fisher earned the fellowship, worth $8,500 from The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi—the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Fisher is one of 40 recipients nationwide to receive a Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship.
Fisher has already received a bachelor's degree in psychology at GVSU and as a Phi Kappa Phi Fellow, will now pursue a master's degree in social work at GVSU. Learn more about the honor in this announcement from Phi Kappa Phi.
