CECI Alums Appointed to State Boards and Commissions

GVSU CECI alums, Erica Chapin and Brian Blomstrom, were appointed by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to serve on state boards and commissions.
Chapin, a 2019 graduate in public and nonprofit administration, was
appointed to the Advisory Council on Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of
Hearing, which advises the Department of Civil Rights. Erica is the
interim executive director of Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services.
Blomstrom, a 2008 Master's of Public Administration graduate, was
reappointed to the Fire Fighters Training Council. Brian is the
director of public safety for the City of Greenville and the deputy
city manager for Montcalm County Emergency Services.
