FAPE in the LRE Community of Practice (CoP)

Purpose:

To ensure that students receive FAPE in the LRE by building training capacity across the state through continued support, collaborative problem-solving, and sharing of resources with EPLI Trainers of START Content who have attended the EPLI Advanced Training: FAPE in the LRE (formerly known as the FAPE in the LRE Bootcamp).

Criteria for Participation:

  • Invitation only.
  • Must be current EPLI Trainers of START Content who have previously completed the EPLI Advanced Training: FAPE in the LRE (formerly known as the FAPE in the LRE Bootcamp) prior to the 2025-2026 school year.

Current Priorities:

  • Overarching Goal: Strengthen CoP members’ confidence and competence to support FAPE in the LRE implementation.
  • Deepen knowledge of Current Trainers of START Content: FAPE in the LRE.
  • Develop outward-facing resources to share with stakeholders and inward-facing resources for CoP members.
  • Create “Think Tank” for effective collaboration and communication amongst CoP members.
  • Explore nuances of FAPE in the LRE implementation through processes and stories.
