Laurie Rosenberg (MEd. Biology 1999) has been serving as the chair of the Grounds and Landscape Committee for the newly formed non-profit Coldwater Community Center. Projects include creating a landscape plan for the building, creating a community kitchen vegetable garden, butterfly rain garden, and garden of memory, reflection, and respite. The garden has come to fruition thanks to a cadre of teen and community volunteers. Follow our progress here, https://www.coldwaterbeechhouse.org/. Photo shows the kitchen garden being planted during Coldwater's Strawberry Fest, with volunteers Magaly Ruiz, Sydney Alatorre, and Amro Ahmed. Ms. Rosenberg is in pink. Funding for the kitchen garden was provided by the Branch County Garden Club and Neitzert's Greenhouse.
