David Crafts, two time GVSU graduate (1998 and 2000), has been appointed to the position of Dean of Enrollment Services & Special Programs at the College of San Mateo in Northern California. David has spent over 20 years in higher education and credits his success to his mentors and former GVSU faculty in the College Student Affairs Leadership (CSAL) program, Dr. Jay Cooper and Dr. Lorraine Alston. His appointment as dean at the College of San Mateo was based largely on his student-centered approach with a lens of equity which was an integral part of the CSAL Program.
