Jessica and I have known each other for over a dozen years, but it was in the last two years that something much more developed. Our relationship developed long distance while I was finishing graduate school in New York City and she was working in Texas. We survived a four week stretch in August 2016 in which we were wed, we enjoyed a short mini-moon, I defended my dissertation, and we moved me across the country and moved her across a city. My lady love and I are presently living in Houston, Texas, after a wedding in Grand Rapids, Michigan, full of deeply touching moments and so very much fun.
