My favorite memory as a Laker was transferring to GVSU my sophomore year. I immediately found community through student organizations and from the moment I stepped on campus, I knew I'd be a Laker for a Lifetime.

My favorite memory has to be giving tours for the Admissions office. I loved getting to meet potential students and parents and share my love for the University. I made great friends with my fellow tour guides and I'm so thankful for that experience.

My favorite Grand Valley memory is meeting my husband at Grand Valley! We met in September 2017 through the Fencing Club. We were recently married, December 19th, 2024 in Grand Rapids! I have also met several of my closest friends through GV.

My favorite Grand Valley memory is forming a singer-songwriter trio in 1976. We performed around campus, singing some favorite songs from the mid-70's. Then, we started writing our own tunes - my English background served me well:)

My favorite GVSU memory is singing at the football stadium with the Voices of GVSU. That was so much fun even though it was cold.

One of my favorite Grand Valley memories is going and supporting our Lakers no matter what sport they are playing. The energy from football games and the Laker pride will always stick with me!

I absolutely loved being a campus tour guide. Nothing beats seeing moms, dads, and/or other family members go from "anxious and worried to send their child off to school" to "comfortable and excited."

The years have changed most of my memories into fond ones, including walking from my dorm to my class with wet hair that was frozen solid by the time I crossed Little Mac.

My favorite memory from Grand Valley would have to be the shows I did with my improv team Subject to Change. I can not express how amazing it was to find a group of like minded, hilarious, and amazing friends!
