Grove Street Bakery is a beloved, locally owned bakery located in Bloomington, Illinois, that has served the community since 1996. Known for its scratch-made cookies, cinnamon rolls, donuts, and other baked goods, the bakery has long been a staple in the community.

In 2025, I purchased Grove Street Bakery after learning it was planning to close, driven by both personal connection and a desire to preserve its legacy. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and recent graduate of Grand Valley State University, I bring a background in clinical nutrition, food service, and community outreach to the business. My goal is to maintain the bakery's well-loved recipes and traditions while expanding offerings, improving accessibility through online ordering, and introducing options such as gluten-free and lower-sugar items.

Beyond baked goods, I am passionate about using the bakery as a platform for community engagement, nutrition education, and mental health awareness. Grove Street Bakery continues to prioritize connection, inclusivity, and quality, with a vision of growing its impact through outreach, local partnerships, and enhanced customer experience.
