We are grateful to all the alumni who completed the survey. Here is some of what we heard from the 2,600+ Responses.

What Impacts Alumni Opinion of GVSU? Campus Beauty: 7% say this has a Little Impact, 47% say it has a Moderate Impact, and 45% says it has a Significant Impact. Value of / Respect for Degree: 5% say this has a Little Impact, 60% say it has a Moderate Impact, and 35% says it has a Significant Impact.  Presence in the Community: 7% say this has a Little Impact, 54% say it has a Moderate Impact, and 39% says it has a Significant Impact.  Affordability: 10% say this has a Little Impact, 56% say it has a Moderate Impact, and 34% says it has a Significant Impact.  Diverse & Inclusive Environment: 16% say this has a Little Impact, 54% say it has a Moderate Impact, and 30% says it has a Significant Impact. 93% of respondents have a positive opinion of GVSU.
Experience as a Student by college. On a scale from 1 to 5, 1 being poor 5 being excellent, overall, the respondents said 4.4. Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies graduates said 4.3, College of Community and Public Service graduates said 4.4, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences graduates said 4.4, College of Education graduates said 4.6, College of Health Professions graduates said 4.4, Seidman College of Business graduates said 4.3, Kirkhof College of Nursing graduates said 4.5, Padnos College of Engineering and Computing graduates said 4.2. 94% of respondents say it was a good decision to attend GVSU.
Alumni Loyalty. On a sliding scale from not loyal to very loyal, alumni said they are very loyal to GVSU in general, very loyal to their major or program, very loyal to a faculty member(s), loyal to GVSU athletics, and loyal to a student organization or activity they were involved in.
