International Student Tuition & Fees

Below you will find the estimated tuition and housing costs. Use this information to prepare your financial documents in order for GVSU to issue your I-20 or DS-2019. Your actual costs of attendance will depend on the number of credits for which you register, your program of study or major, and your housing selection.

All international students at Grand Valley are required to purchase health insurance. The estimated cost of the health insurance plan is included in the cost of attendance.

Admitted International students can upload their financial documents through their Portal.

*Please note: All admitted undergraduate students receive an International Student Scholarship, reducing the cost of tuition to the Michigan Resident In-State rate. This scholarship is valued at approximately $6,500 per year.

You can find more information about scholarships and financial assistance for international students by visiting the International Scholarships page.

You can find the 2026-2027 academic year tuition rates under the non-Michigan resident section on the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship website.
