The performing arts industry program prepares students for work in the arts as administrators, presenters, businesspeople, and any careers beyond performance or education.
The program provides a path for students to study music or theatre in conjunction with study in public and nonprofit administration. Students also benefit from hands-on learning experiences and networking opportunities with industry professionals
In addition to honing your skills in music or theatre performance, the program covers essential topics like financial management and fundraising, the art of grant writing, the importance of volunteerism, and the roles of public and nonprofit administration. Additional courses in statistics, politics, and public policy prepare you for a dynamic career in the field.
Combine your passion for the arts with the expertise to lead and manage organizations. Dedicated faculty will enhance your talents, guiding you along your educational path and helping you gain the skills to manage arts groups and programs.
