IT specialists are experts in data storage, cybersecurity, software development, network management, and system administration. Grand Valley provides students with extensive hands-on learning opportunities, helping IT students graduate with the confidence and experience necessary for success within information technology infrastructure and the people who use it.
The IT program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes courses in programming, problem-solving with software tools, and computer systems administration. You will delve into information assurance and system security, cyber digital forensics, and usability design.
IT stands out for its unique blend of theoretical foundation, practical experience, and underlying cybersecurity principles to prepare you to tackle current and future challenges.
