Students understand strategies for hospitality operations management, guest experience enhancement, and tourism growth. Grand Valley gives students the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge through field experience facilitated by internship requirements.

The program includes foundational courses in management, marketing, and law, as well as specialized courses in food and beverage management, lodging management, and financial decision-making. You will choose an emphasis in meeting and event management, lodging management, food and beverage management, or tourism management, tailoring the program to your specific aspirations.

You will engage with dedicated professors who incorporate modern industry concepts and best practices in the classroom and beyond. The program emphasizes experiential learning and resume building through structured internships, providing valuable hands-on experience. You will benefit from networking opportunities with alumni, professional organizations, and industry stakeholders.  Additionally, Grand Valley offers distinctive opportunities through diverse and practical career concentrations that set it apart from other institutions.
