What's Changing with Job Requisitions?

Current State

Hiring Managers and others involved in hiring partners with their HR Generalists when a job needs to be posted. Job requisitions are created during the position approval in PageUp.

Future State

Job requisitions are a separate business process from the position approval. All hiring and/or filling of positions/jobs will require a job requisition to be created in Workday. This will include a former employee who was terminated or recently retired and returning as an employee. The only exceptions are when a contingent worker or a pre-determined student employee is being hired.

Who is Impacted?

  • Administrative Assistants

  • Greater consistency in the hiring/recruiting process

Potential Challenges

Other Important Information
