Biography

Scott Dickson is an image-maker and art and design educator. Through a hybridized approach to drawing, painting, and collage his work explores the ability of our surroundings, both the natural world and personal relationships, to reflect onto us our deepest desires for an intimate connection to something that we can define as real and mark a point time that does not pause for us. Dickson’s work has been exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Kansas City, and Berlin, Germany. His images are published both online and in print, most notably in Age of Collage, Contemporary Collage in Modern Art, a publication by Berlin-based Gestalten.
