Mary Brodbeck Ukiyo-e Demonstration

Join us on Wednesday, February 17 6:00-8:30, in the printmaking studio for a demonstration of the Japanese Ukiyo-e printmaking technique, a water-based printing method for woodcuts. Artist Mary Brodbeck will be demonstrating and sharing some of her personal work utilizing this technique. Mary studied at GVSU but learned the method during her extended work in Japan. This technique is also great for anyone working with woodcuts who may not have access to a press at home. ALL ARE WELCOME!
