Description
The Grand Valley State University Arts Celebration presents an evening of poetry and conversation with former United States Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera. An activist and award-winning author, Herrera grew up in California as the son of migrant farmers, an experience that has strongly shaped much of his work.
