What is a Career Community? Our Career Communities are a way for you to connect with fellow students, faculty, career advisors, employers and career content related to specific industry types. Communities provide information, opportunities for exploration, and connections related to your areas of interest.
Handshake is a great online tool for searching for positions, and have many local, regional, and national opportunities. All undergraduate and graduate students who have registered for classes should have a Handshake profile linked to their student email. Log in to Handshake using your GVSU network credentials.

CAREER COACHING
Career Coaching is a process of self-discovery and active goal-setting designed to help you create your own unique path to career success. A career coach will gather information, ask important questions, and provide support, motivation, and accountability along the way.
Handshake offers employers the ability to post jobs, track applicants, schedule on-campus interviews and register for career fairs and events. Additionally, Handshake offers expanded recruitment potential:
