About
Shyceka has been employed with GVSU for 12 years spending the majority of the time in the libraries. Shyceka came to Event Services in March of 2022. She supervises the Event Services student employees and manages event bookings held in the Kirkhof building and surrounding outside area. She serves on the Student Employment Committee in the office of OSL.
Shyceka’s passion is cooking, hosting event, helping and seeing people succeed at their goals. She has degree in Culinary Arts and does a lot of baking/cooking. Her end goal is to feed the homeless with out all the red tape of doing it. You can ask her anything about food and she will have an answer or get one.
