JANUARY 18:
- GVSU Esports Club hosted a grand opening at the new Laker
Esports Center for over 50 attendees, including President
Mantella. The team also competed against Davenport University
and secured a 4-3 victory in overtime.

- The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and Solidarity
took place as a part of a national day of service where campuses
across the country aided their communities in honor of Reverend
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

- The Winter Student Org Showcase had 135 organizations
participate and was attended by nearly 1,000 individuals. Over
450 prizes were given out by the Office of Student Life.

- With 13 events over two days, Winterfest 2022 provided
students with hot chocolate, snowshoeing and comedy during the
final weekend in January.
