Join the GVSU Laker Dance Team for our 2026–2027 Summer Intensive; a high-energy, fast-paced training experience designed for dedicated dancers who are ready to challenge themselves, elevate their technique, and experience what it's like to be a part of a collegiate dance team.
Whether you're aspiring to join our program or simply want to explore what college dance is all about, this is a great opportunity to train with top coaches and performers in the industry, connect with current team members, and see what it takes to perform at the next level.
Eligible Dancers:
Current 8th Graders & High School Students (Graduating Classes of 2027–2031)
Current College Students
Prospective Transfer Students

Participating dancers can expect to experience a day of:

- LDT/GVSU Program Presentations

- Solo Showcase Opportunity with Personalized Feedback Included ($45 per dancer: Juniors, Seniors, & College Dancers ONLY)!

Where: GVSU Courts 4&5
When: July 17th & 18th
Estimated Event Times:
Day 1: 12:15 PM – 6:45 PM
Day 2: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Cost: $175 + Optional Add On's ($45 for Solo Showcase Participation + Coach Feedback)
Housing & Meals: All participating dancers are responsible for their own meals and accommodations. You are welcome to stay wherever is most convenient for you and your family.
Clinic Cancellation Policy: To cancel your registration, you must send an email to ( [email protected] ) and include the participant's name. Full refunds will be given on all cancellations requested on or before 1pm on July 13th. All cancellations following July 13th will be a prorated refund.

Clinic Location: GVSU Rec Center - Courts 4&5
According to the GVSU Campus Map (see attached document), we recommend parking in Lot F. From there, please proceed to building 11.
*There will be several members of the team at the entrance to the Rec Center to direct participants to the clinic location.
