Student Events

Online options via Zoom 8am - 4pm on Friday In-person at GVSU’s Pew campus & at GRPM  Student-friendly events on Friday  10am-5pm: Activity tables at GRPM Hands-on explorations on space-related arts & sciences  4-5pm: “Solar Energy Workshop” at GVSU Hands-on explorations with Dr. Heidi Jiao, GVSU Engineering  5:30-6:30pm: Open Reception at GVSU Display of Design That! entries & various other outreach (with food)  6:30-7:30pm: Keynote Speaker “Through the Glass Ceiling to the Stars” Colonel Eileen Collins, NASA astronaut (retired) Col. Collins will also be speaking at GRPM on Saturday at 11am 8:00-9:30pm: Movie at GRPM “Women in Space” Featuring Star Trek’s Nichelle Nichols and many NASA astronauts  (free with conference registration) For more details, go to https://www.gvsu.edu/rogerthat
