"Over spring break I went on the Outdoor Adventure's hiking trip to Moab, Utah. It was a really cool experience to step out of my comfort zone and go on a week long trip with 26 people I didn't know. I went on this trip because I went on last year's trip to Tennessee and had a lot of fun. My friend from that trip, Julia, was going on this trip to Moab so I decided to join as well.
I have always been really active in the outdoors, but I have never had a community of people to enjoy doing those things with all the time. I have gained some really great friends who share the same passions and hobbies as me."
