Receiving the the Recreation Leadership scholarship is an incredible honor and extremely meaningful part of my academic journey! I strongly feel that through GVSU recreation, I have been able to grow as a leader, motivate myself and others, and better myself. Receiving this scholarship undoubtedly motivates me to continue working hard and growing as a person and a leader. Additionally, this scholarship also financially allows me to continue my education and studies. Throughout my academic journey I have learned so much about leadership, and how I can guide and benefit others especially in the healthcare field. I am beyond excited to continue learning more, and one day be able to showcase these skills in my future career. This scholarship has been a huge motivational and financial help in my journey!
