DL is a Detroit native, Grand Rapids resident, and GVSU “Laker for a Lifetime.” He holds degrees in Economics, Public Administration, and Education and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.

DL believes belonging requires more than representation. DL looks to make it mandatory that institutions rethink how power, resources, policies, and decisions are structured. Drawing on lived experience, they use business strategy and continuous-improvement models to decenter whiteness, interrupt inequity, and build more accountable systems.

His passions include LGBTQIA+ student belonging and persistence, disability justice, racial equity, trauma-informed leadership, community care, and assessment practices that value lived experience alongside traditional data.

Outside of work, DL spends time with their semi-large family and super-glues their LEGO sets together (complaints may be submitted directly to the bricks).

D. is dreaming of a better world where collective liberation is realized. A GVSU alum, and former student worker at the Rainbow Resource Center, they are thrilled to be joining a dynamic team of thinkers, creatives, and fierce advocates. With a desire to amplify the voices of the marginalized, and dedication of translating theory into practice, they look forward to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community at GVSU, and all people seeking to live out their truths. They hope you know you matter.

Joey is passionate about building an equitable society for all LGBTQIA+ people. She has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Sociology from Calvin University. Joey spent six years working in Refugee and Immigrant Services as a mentor/tutor coordinator connecting community members with refugee youth. She's been at GV for four years now, and has enjoyed taking WGS classes for fun (because she's a big nerd).

In her free time, you can catch Joey reading, walking, or watching WNBA games with her wife. 

Originally from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Liv moved to Grand Rapids in 2020 after graduating with a bachelor’s in art history and psychology. They currently work at the intersection of liberatory harm reduction and integrated healthcare, providing support for people living with HIV (PLWH), people who use drugs (PWUD), and aging adults experiencing cognitive changes. Driven by a fierce commitment to justice, Olivia is pursuing licensure to become a clinical social worker dedicated to abolitionist and anti-carceral frameworks. Her long-term goal is to serve as an accomplice in the radical transformation of our world by anchoring into community-based solutions that build new systems of care outside oppressive and exploitative societal structures. In their free time, Liv enjoys being goofy with friends, swimming in Lake Superior, and lounging at home with their partner and two very cute cats.

Andrew is a Senior graduating at the end of this academic year. They are studying Anthropology and Spanish. Andrew loves talking with people about nearly anything under the sun, and is also just happy to listen if there's something you'd like to talk about. Activities they enjoy are hanging out with friends, learning new things, exercising, rock climbing, and playing their classical guitar. 

Charlee is a junior studying elementary education and special education. Their friends, their plants, and the reciprocity of learning with children is near and dear to their heart. Their ideal day would consist of getting lost in the woods, collecting little trinkets, trying new foods, and crafting! Charlee also co-facilitates General Queer Alliance (GQA), and loves hanging out with all of their friends there! They love learning about the world around them and making meaningful connections in their community. When not in the Rainbow Resource Center you may be able to find them in the Memorial Garden or wandering somewhere on campus during their busy days. Feel free to stop them and say hi!

Darcy is a third-year student pursuing a B.A. in Philosophy, in addition to two minors: Health Care Ethics and Political Science. Their primary academic interests focus on the intersection of ethics, social (in)justice, and the ways in which knowledge serves as a tool for moral integrity. Outside of academics, Darcy is passionate about historical queer media--both fiction and nonfiction. They also spend their free time singing, writing poetry, and adding to their tattoo collection! Feel free to stop them any time and say hi! 

Levi is a senior in his final semester studying psychology and statistics. He co-facilitates Ace of Clubs and assists with the RRC front desk. Alongside these roles, he also volunteers in the campus psychology labs. In his free time, Levi can be found exploring the Ravine Trails and photographing nature. He also enjoys rock climbing, art, cooking, botany, playing D&D, and video games.

Marshall is a third year studying Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. He's interested in pursuing a MSW after completing his bachelor's. On or off the clock, you're likely to see him in the center all throughout the week. He is a front desk assistant and one of the current T2 facilitators

Hello :)) I’m Emily! A student-athlete going into my junior year! My major is HR, I’m an artist-at-heart, and professional collector of little hobbies. I love creating things, thrifting, and meeting new people. At the RRC, I’m especially passionate about creating spaces where people can show up exactly as they are, connect with others, and maybe make something whimsical along the way!! Hi everyone! My name is Hannah. I'm going into my Junior year at GVSU and I am a Social Work major with a minor in Juvenile Justice. I plan to get my Masters in Social Work as well! I will be co-facilitating Queer Premiere this year and I'm so excited!! I love hanging out with friends, spending time in nature, listening to music, thrifting, doing crafts and going on adventures. Come hang out in the RRC and see what we're all up to!!

I am a fifth year student in the second degree nursing program and am planning to become a registered nurse when I graduate! In my free time I like to be active outside, crochet, and play video games. Some new things I want to learn this semester are how to rock climb, roller skate, and knit. This year I am returning to my role as General Queer Alliance (GQA) co-facilitator.

Natalie is a facilitator of T2. She is a third-year student majoring in Studio Art with a Graphic Design emphasis. Outside of academics, she likes to play video games, listen to music, build Lego sets, and go antiquing/thrifting.

Seaniell is a first year fisheries and aquatic science major. She co-facilitates Colors of Pride for the RRC. Seaniell loves exploring (non haunted areas) and bonding with local nature. She plays video games in her free time and is always looking for new friends. Seaniell is really big into conservation and after graduation hopes to get her masters in marine biology.

Tabby is a returning student at GVSU majoring in statistics and getting a minor in psychology with the goal of going into research! They are also the co facilitator for Neuroqueers! In their free time, they very much enjoy activism, reading, D&D, and being outdoors! And would love to have new friends to engage in these hobbies with them :)
