The Office
The Promotions Office is made up of a handful of talented and motivated young professionals, who believe that being actively involved in the campus community (outside of the classroom) will benefit students' growth as individuals. Through our work we seek to create content which informs, educates, and inspires the GVSU community.
Our clients include offices, departments, and student organizations from across the university. We produce a wide range of promotional materials in various mediums including print, video, photo, as well as provide a handful of other services.
Our office is a department within the Division of Student Affairs.

About
Bobby joined the Promotions Office (in the Office of Student Life) as staff in 2014, where he had worked as an undergrad since 2011. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in film/video production with an additional emphasis focusing on business. He has completed internships in Detroit, MI with a creative commercial production house and in Los Angles, CA with the prestigious Television Academy Internship Program. His areas of interest include producing, advertising, photography, and business management.
During his undergrad time at GVSU, he worked to develop the Video Team from a group of part-time students to a full-time organization which works across campus providing high quality products and services. Outside of the classroom, he was involved with Grand Valley Television, where he was recognized by various groups including the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for his work. Recently, he has produced short films which have been selected to be screened in festivals on the local, national, and international level.
