- GVSU currently ranks 6th in the country for Master’s institutions sending students abroad based on the 2019 IIE Open Doors report (data based on 2018/19 study abroad participation)
- PIC received the Diversity Abroad’s 2020 Excellence in Diversity &Inclusion in International Education Award for outreach, marketing and recruitment.
- Study abroad is an indicator for increased retention rates and persistence to graduation at GVSU (based on an analysis of data from the past 10 years)
