The luncheon conversation with Dr. Stassun will take place in Zumberge 3062.

Description

Join us for an informal discussion with Keivan G. Stassun, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Vanderbilt University and MacArthur Foundation Fellow, on how to create inclusive research environments.

Dr. Stassun is the founder the Frist Center for Autism and Innovation, where he collaborates with experts in education, disability, business, and engineering to help neurodiverse individuals find and maintain meaningful employment. He is also a founding co-director the Fisk-Vanderbilt Master’s-to-PhD Bridge Program to increase the diversity of students receiving advanced degrees in STEM fields.
