ReACT presents "Difficult Dialogues with Dramatic Relationships"

Date and Time

Friday, December 1, 2017 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Description

  • Not looking forward to awkward holiday conversations about current events?
  • Especially concerned about potentially polarizing topics that include recent media discussions about sexual assault and sexual harassment?
  • Have you ever wondered why dialogues about sexual assault and sexual harassment are so difficult and is there any way to make them easier?

Come explore the topic through performance and interactive activities with ReACT! and figure out the best ways to "Call out" or "Call In" your loved ones during difficult dialogues about sensitive topics.

This event is free and open to the public.

ReACT! is an anti-violence peer theatre education troupe that uses dynamic performance techniques to investigate ways of creating positive social change and decreasing incidents of sexual and gender violence in our campus community. ReACT! is the product of a partnership between GVSU's Center for Women and Gender Equity and the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
