GVSU Orchestra Spring Concert featuring Concerto Competition Winners at Park Church

Description
This yearly event is always a musical highlight for both audience and performers. Two GVSU music students, winners of the 2018 Concerto Competition, will perform their concertos with the Symphony Orchestra. Concluding this final concert of the year, the ensemble plans to pull out all the stops...literally...on the 4 manual 53 rank Skinner/Muller Organ in a performance of Camille Saint-Saëns' Symphony No. 3, often called the Organ Symphony. The Symphony Orchestra is delighted to be able to perform this amazing work in spacious Park Church collaborating with their superb principal organist, Steven Smith.
