The Grand Valley State University Symphonic Band (formerly known as the Symphonic Wind Ensemble) is widely recognized as one of the elite undergraduate wind ensembles, committed to the performance of finest band literature. In 2016, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble released a CD, titled "Under Western Skies". Find it on iTunes and Amazon.
Under the baton of Professor John Martin, the Grand Valley State University Concert Band is comprised of the finest music majors and talented non-music majors at Grand Valley State University. This ensemble is dedicated to broadening the artistic level and interest of its members while performing music of artistic and historical significance.
