The GVSU All State Flute Clinic is a free opportunity for high school flutists, flute teachers, and future high school flutists to spend an afternoon at GVSU covering the materials required for All-State auditions. The clinic will focus on practice techniques for chromatic and major scales, and correct rhythm, proper tempo, technique, and style of the flute and piccolo All-State etudes. Fundamental exercises for improving tone quality, breath control and technique of the etudes are given to each participant. Bring your flute (and piccolo) and be prepared to work on All-State scales and etudes.
