WEATHER ALERT: GVSU will move to REMOTE STATUS for Thursday, January 23, 2025. Classes shift to remote.
Día de los Muertos is a holiday in which people pray for and remember loved ones who've died. The alters have food as offerings and calaveras (sugar skulls) that display colorful designs to represent the vitality and individual personality of the departed. This alter was created by Prof. Fernández Flórez's SPA 101 and 320 students.
