Driving Directions & Visitor Parking

Here's what you need to know about coming by car.

Driving Directions

Valley Campus

The following directions bring you to the Admissions and Recruitment Office at Lubbers Student Services Center, which is located at 10800 North Campus Drive in Allendale, Michigan. 

  1. Take Exit 86B for I-196 West/Gerald R. Ford Freeway toward Holland. 
     
  2. In 1.5 miles, take Exit 75 for M-45 West/Lake Michigan Drive. 
     
  3. Merge onto M-45 West/Lake Michigan Drive and follow it for 10 miles. 
     
  4. Use the left two lanes to turn left (south) onto North Campus Drive.
     
  5. Go through the entrance arch and follow North Campus Drive past both the stoplight and the athletic complex. Look for the large set of flagpoles on your left. The Lubbers Student Services Center is the building directly behind the flagpoles.
     
  6. Visitor parking is available in Lot MP, located directly across the street.
  1. Follow I-96 West. 
     
  2. Keep left to continue onto I-196 West, following signs for Downtown Grand Rapids/Holland/Gerald R. Ford Freeway. 
     
  3. After 5.5 miles, take Exit 75 for M-45 West/Lake Michigan Drive. 
     
  4. Merge onto M-45 West/Lake Michigan Drive and follow it for 10 miles. 
     
  5. Use the left two lanes to turn left (south) onto North Campus Drive. 
     
  6. Go through the entrance arch and follow North Campus Drive past both the stoplight and the athletic complex. Look for the large set of flagpoles on your left. The Lubbers Student Services Center is the building directly behind the flagpoles.
     
  7. Visitor parking is available in Lot MP, located directly across the street.
  1. Follow I-96 East toward Grand Rapids and take Exit 19 for County Road B35/Coopersville/Eastmanville. 
     
  2. Turn left (south) onto 68th Avenue and go approximately six miles. 
     
  3. Turn right (west) onto Lake Michigan Drive, then make a U-turn at the next available U-turn intersection to drive east on Lake Michigan Drive. 
     
  4. Continue east for approximately three miles and turn right (south) onto North Campus Drive. 
     
  5. Go through the entrance arch and follow North Campus Drive past both the stoplight and the athletic complex. Look for the large set of flagpoles on your left. The Lubbers Student Services Center is the building directly behind the flagpoles.
     
  6. Visitor parking is available in Lot MP, located directly across the street.
  1. Follow I-94 East to Exit 34 for I-196 North/US-31 North toward Holland/Grand Rapids. 
     
  2. Continue on I-196 North/US-31 North to Exit 44 for US-31/I-196 Business Loop toward Holland/Muskegon. 
     
  3. Follow I-196 Business Loop/US-31 North for about 18 miles. 
     
  4. Turn right (east) onto M-45 East/Lake Michigan Drive.
     
  5. Continue approximately 15 miles, then turn right (south) onto North Campus Drive. 
     
  6. Go through the entrance arch and follow North Campus Drive past both the stoplight and the athletic complex. Look for the large set of flagpoles on your left. The Lubbers Student Services Center is the building directly behind the flagpoles.
     
  7. Visitor parking is available in Lot MP, located directly across the street.

City – Robert C. Pew Campus

The following directions bring you to the Richard M. DeVos Center, which is located at 400 Fulton Street West in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

  1. Take US-131 South to Exit 85A for Market Avenue. 
     
  2. Turn left (northeast) onto Market Avenue and continue to the Fulton Street intersection. 
     
  3. Turn left (west) onto Fulton Street and continue under the highway overpass. The Richard M. DeVos Center will be on your right. 
     
  4. For parking in the DeVos Lot, take a right (north) onto Winter Avenue. The entrance to the DeVos Lot will be on your right.
  1. Take US-131 North to Exit 85B for Pearl Street/Downtown. 
     
  2. Turn left (west) onto Pearl Street, go under the overpass, and take the first left (south) onto Mount Vernon Avenue. 
     
  3. Continue straight (south) on Mount Vernon Avenue to the Fulton Street intersection. 
     
  4. Turn right (west) onto Fulton Street. The Richard M. DeVos Center will be on your right. 
     
  5. For parking in the DeVos Lot, take the first right (north) onto Winter Avenue. The entrance to the DeVos Lot will be on your right.
  1. Take I-96 West to I-196, following signs for Downtown Grand Rapids/Holland/Gerald R. Ford Freeway. 
     
  2. In four miles, take Exit 77B for US-131 South toward Kalamazoo. 
     
  3. In one mile, take Exit 85A for Market Avenue. 
     
  4. Turn left (northeast) onto Market Avenue. 
     
  5. Turn left (west) onto Fulton Street and continue under the highway overpass. The Richard M. DeVos Center will be on your right. 
     
  6. For parking in the DeVos Lot, take a right (north) onto Winter Avenue. The entrance to the DeVos Lot will be on your right.
  1. Follow I-96 East towards Grand Rapids. 
     
  2. Take Exit 31A for US-131 South toward Kalamazoo. 
     
  3. Take the far-right lane for Exit 85B Pearl Street/Downtown and merge onto Mount Vernon Avenue. 
     
  4. Continue straight (south) on Mount Vernon to the Fulton Street intersection. 
     
  5. Turn right (west) onto Fulton Street. The Richard M. DeVos Center will be on your right. 
     
  6. For parking in the DeVos Lot, take the first right (north) onto Winter Avenue. The entrance to the DeVos Lot will be on your right.
  1. Follow I-94 East to Exit 34 for I-196 North/US-31 North toward Holland/Grand Rapids. 
     
  2. Continue on I-196 to Exit 77B for US-131 South toward Kalamazoo. 
     
  3. Take the far-right lane for Exit 85B Pearl Street/Downtown and merge onto Mount Vernon Avenue. 
     
  4. Continue straight (south) on Mount Vernon to the Fulton Street intersection. 
     
  5. Turn right (west) onto Fulton Street. The Richard M. DeVos Center will be on your right. 
     
  6. For parking in the DeVos Lot, take the first right (north) onto Winter Avenue. The entrance to the DeVos Lot will be on your right.

City – Health Campus

The following directions bring you to the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences (CHS), which is located at 301 Michigan Street Northeast in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

  1. Take US-131 to Exit 86A for I-196 East/Gerald R. Ford Freeway toward Lansing.
     
  2. Merge onto I-196 East, then take Exit 78 for College Avenue. 
     
  3. Use the far-right lane to turn right (south) onto College Avenue. 
     
  4. At the next intersection, turn right (west) onto Michigan Street. 
     
  5. At the corner of Michigan Street and Lafayette Avenue, the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences (CHS) will be on your right.
     
  6. For parking, turn right (north) onto Lafayette Avenue and pull into the parking lot behind CHS. Signs will direct you toward visitor parking.
  1. Take I-96 West to I-196, following signs for Downtown Grand Rapids/Holland/Gerald R. Ford Freeway. 
     
  2. Take Exit 78 for College Avenue and use the middle lane to turn left (south) onto College Avenue. 
     
  3. At the next intersection, turn right (west) onto Michigan Street. 
     
  4. At the corner of Michigan Street and Lafayette Avenue, the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences (CHS) will be on your right. 
     
  5. For parking, turn right (north) onto Lafayette Avenue and pull into the parking lot behind CHS. Signs will direct you toward visitor parking.
  1. Follow I-96 East towards Grand Rapids. 
     
  2. Take Exit 31A for US-131 South toward Kalamazoo. 
     
  3. Follow US-131 South to Exit 86A for I-196 East/Gerald R. Ford Freeway toward Lansing. 
     
  4. Merge onto I-196 East, then take Exit 78 for College Avenue. 
     
  5. Use the right lane to turn right (south) onto College Avenue. 
     
  6. At the next intersection, turn right (west) onto Michigan Street.  
     
  7. At the corner of Michigan Street and Lafayette Avenue, the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences (CHS) will be on your right.  
     
  8. For parking, turn right (north) onto Lafayette Avenue and pull into the parking lot behind CHS. Signs will direct you toward visitor parking.
