The "Making Waves" in the African Diaspora Faculty Learning
Community (FLC) interrogates the relationship between water and the
African diaspora. Using Kevin Dawson's recent _Undercurrents of Power:
Aquatic Culture in the African Diaspora_, we will discuss connections
between race and water -- including, as well as beyond fear and trauma.
