Description

This Open Door Discussion will aim to tackle the difficult questions around how we categorize historical figures who lived before contemporary Western identity labels and beliefs. We hope this dive into historical frameworks and the evolution of terminology can help us all properly celebrate queer history while respecting everyone's true selves, past and present. This INT 100/201 approved, student-led discussion will include a short presentation and then opportunities to talk and share.

This event also appears on the main events calendar tagged as academic, english, history, int, language, lgbtqia, linguistics, and trans.
