Description
In late July 1967, while Detroit experienced a vast social rebellion, Grand Rapids saw its own uprising that threatened lives, homes, and businesses throughout the city. Produced by Grand Rapids’ African American Museum and Archives (GRAAMA), this documentary highlights individuals and the history of the three-day uprising and touches upon impressions of the event that continue today.
