Personal Printers

Personal printers are non-networked printers that connect directly to one computer. Technology Acquisition stocks two types of personal printer options, both of which can be purchased by completing an Internal Service Delivery (ISD) in Workday. If needed, please refer to the How to Create an Internal Service Delivery for Technology Acquisitions job aid to submit the order. 

Network Printers

Network printers need to meet security and remote management requirements. Therefore, Technology Acquisition has specific network printers available for purchase through a non-stock order. To obtain a quote, please enter a ticket through the IT Service Portal and Technology Acquisition will send you a custom quote that will meet the needs of the department.

Standard Laser Printers

Standard laser printers can print up to 8.50" x14.00" (legal size). All models below are automatic duplex printing. If you do not need automatic duplex printing, manual duplex printers are also available in these models.

Black and White Laser Printers

• HP M507dn - 45 ppm Mono, 1200 x 1200 dpi Print, Automatic Duplex Print, 650 Sheets Input

Color Laser Printers

Wide Format Laser Printers

Wide format laser printers can print up to 12.30" x 18.50". All models below are automatic duplex printing. If you do not need automatic duplex printing, manual duplex printers are also available in these models.

Printer Supplies

IT recommends purchasing all ink and toner from the Office Depot or Staples punchouts in Workday as part of our participation in the HP Big Deal program, which offers valuable discounts and rebates. Please be cautious when considering refurbished or non-HP brands of ink and toner, as they can potentially cause damage to our printers.

Recycle Your HP Consumables

In order to provide additional value to GVSU students, GVSU has partnered with HP for ink and toner cartridge recycling. Through this partnership, GVSU will be able to earn credit with HP that will allow GVSU to provide additional or replacement network printers for students to use in labs on campus.

Michigan Office Solutions (MOS) Xerox machines

There are more than 130 convenience copiers provided to support the academic endeavors of our students, faculty, and staff. If you notice that a copier needs service, please call Michigan Office Solutions directly at 800-442-9070. Please be prepared to identify the model number and location for service.
