Personal Printer - HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b
Personal printers are non-networked printers that connect directly to one computer. Technology Acquisition no longer stocks this approved personal printer. Instead it is approved for purchase through a requisition from Workday supplier websites (CDW-G, Office Depot, or Staples) or through a quote request in the IT Service Portal. By moving the approved printer to the Workday supplier websites, users can receive the printer faster with direct ship! Please note that this computer is not approved to be connected to the GVSU wireless or wired network. It must be connected locally to a computer. You will also need to purchase a USB-A to USB-B cable through your chosen supplier website.

Network Printers
Network printers need to meet security and remote management requirements. Therefore, Technology Acquisition has specific network printers available for purchase through a non-stock order. To obtain a quote, please enter a ticket through the IT Service Portal and Technology Acquisition will send you a custom quote that will meet the needs of the department.
Standard Laser Printers
Standard laser printers can print up to 8.50" x14.00" (legal size). All models below are automatic duplex printing. If you do not need automatic duplex printing, manual duplex printers are also available in these models.

Printer Supplies
IT recommends purchasing all ink and toner from the Office Depot or Staples punchouts in Workday as part of our participation in the HP Big Deal program, which offers valuable discounts and rebates. Please be cautious when considering refurbished or non-HP brands of ink and toner, as they can potentially cause damage to our printers.
Recycle Your HP Consumables
In order to provide additional value to GVSU students, GVSU has partnered with HP for ink and toner cartridge recycling. Through this partnership, GVSU will be able to earn credit with HP that will allow GVSU to provide additional or replacement network printers for students to use in labs on campus.
Michigan Office Solutions (MOS) Xerox machines
There are more than 130 convenience copiers provided to support the academic endeavors of our students, faculty, and staff. If you notice that a copier needs service, please call Michigan Office Solutions directly at 800-442-9070. Please be prepared to identify the model number and location for service. Contact Stacy Richardson at MOS (616) 719-5184 to determine the best printer option.
