Lake Life Cottages is seeking an intern or graduate as a full-time innkeeper with experience and/or education in the hospitality field to oversee and coordinate daily operations to ensure highest standards for cleanliness, product quality, and guest service. The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, and knowledgeable of hospitality operations, be hands on in all aspects of the day to day operation and focused on excellent customer service and exceptional guest experience, and have flexible schedule and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
The position will begin as seasonal for this summer and could easily become a year round position for a recent graduate who is willing to help us become a 4 season destination.
Responsibilities include:
Ensures that all areas of the property are properly cleaned and ready for guests' arrival.
Anticipates and assesses guests' needs and requests, and responds in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Picks up and delivers reservation add-ons (breakfast baskets, etc.).
Assists Event Manager with set-up and tear-down of events at The Beach Barn.
Communicates with management and maintenance to report maintenance and repair needs.
Monitors and maintains inventory of all supplies; cleaning, amenities, etc.
Manages and assists in all housekeeping duties.
Inspects rooms prior to any guest arrival and all common areas on a daily basis and promptly addresses any and all issues that may be present.
