GVSU encourages you to enroll in direct deposit through Workday. If you choose not to sign up for direct deposit, you will be issued physical checks each pay period. Please review your options below.

Attention Students
If you plan to change your direct deposit information and you are a student who receives financial aid, do not forget to update your information with Student Accounts as well.
Questions
Will I get email notifications with my paycheck?
No, you will not receive an email notifying you that you have been received a paycheck, nor will you receive an email with your paycheck attached. Learn how to view your paycheck in Workday and view pay dates on our website.
Will I receive my direct deposit early?
You will not receive your direct deposit a day earlier than your pay date, though we understand this has been the case in the past. Your direct deposit will arrive on your pay date. Review pay dates for all employee groups.
