Chris Grooms supports the HR Strategic Business Partner team by managing the HR Generalists and the Strategic Support Team. As the complaint liaison, Chris supports the complaint resolution process in partnership with the Division of Inclusion and Equity, Employee Ombuds Office, and the Provost's Office.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree from Aquinas College in Communication and Theatre, and he is currently working toward a master’s degree from GVSU in Public Administration focusing on non-profit management and leadership. In his spare time, he directs plays and musicals for local community theatres and loves spending time with his wife and children.
