Hills is home to 1-Bedroom Apartment-Style units reserved for first-year students. Each unit comes fully furnished, and students get a private bathroom with a kitchenette. While residents still share their bedroom/living space, they get more privacy and flexibility than in cluster or traditional style. Residents still form a strong community and connections here. These buildings are located in the North Campus Neighborhood near Kleiner Commons, the tutoring center, Fresh Food Co., Fuel, and Mackinac Hall, where most freshmen have classes.
