Overview
Approach
Grand Valley State University is committed to a supportive, holistic approach to student success, one that honors and builds upon the strengths of our partner Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs).
In most cases, students will earn degrees from both their HBCU/HSI and GVSU, gaining the advantage of a dual academic experience. Those who choose to continue their education at GVSU will have access to financial support, dedicated mentoring, and comprehensive academic resources. Additionally, GVSU’s strong partnerships with local industries offer students valuable opportunities for professional development, experiential learning, and career advancement.
Format
Students may transfer to Grand Valley State University to complete their undergraduate degree, pursue an Articulated Collaborative Early Engagement (ACEE) pathway that integrates undergraduate and graduate studies, or begin their academic journey at GVSU directly at the graduate level.
