Make Michigan Home Grant

Grand Valley State University was awarded a grant through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to address talent needs in the state, particularly the West Michigan region. As part of this grant, students from the HBCU/HSI Consortium or international graduate students in the College of Computing who are willing to relocate to West Michigan are eligible to receive up to $3,000 for relocation expenses and up to $2,000 as a reverse scholarship to help pay back students’ loans and/or cover OPT fees for international students. Eligible students must be part of the HBCU/HSI Consortium or international graduate students in the College of Computing, graduating in 2025, and willing to stay in West Michigan for at least 2 years (24 months).
